Stavros G. Stavropoulos is a graduate of the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (E.K.P.A.). He completed his specialization in Psychiatry at the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica and at the Behavioral Therapy Unit of the Hellenic Center for Mental Hygiene and Research (E.KE.P.Y.E.). He prepared his Doctoral Thesis at the School of Medicine of the E.K.P.A. He has received Psychotherapeutic Training in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (E.KE.P.Y.E. and Research University Institute of Mental Hygiene-E.P.I.P.Y.) and in Clinical Hypnotherapy (American Guild of Hypnotherapists). In the past he worked as a Scientific Officer and Psychiatrist in Psychosocial Rehabilitation Structures ("Psychargos"). Until today, he is an external partner of Elderly Care Units, Private Psychiatric Clinics and practices Psychiatry privately in Glyfada (Athens) as a Psychotherapist / Hypnotherapist and Adult Psychiatrist Specialist.
