Adolescence is a transitional phase from childhood to adulthood. It is a period of challenges where the young person is in a process towards autonomy and acquiring an identity. Adolescents often find it difficult to manage the physical, psycho-emotional and social changes that this period brings.
It is therefore necessary to provide a safe space to teenagers for the free expression of their thoughts, feelings but also for the understanding of their behavior and the constantly evolving self. Psychotherapy gives the young person the opportunity, in a climate of trust and acceptance, to negotiate important issues that concern him, to manage his strong emotions and conflicts and in his own way to explore and "structure" his identity.
